Doctors Visit

I have been taking Crestor for my cholesterol and the doctor would not fill my prescription until I made an appointment so I did. I thought he would just want me to have a blood test, but when I got there he did an EKG on me and he wants me to come back for a nuclear stress test on Tuesday. When I'm through with that, I know he will want to do some other kind of test, because, that is what they do. I think that is all they know to do. Well enough of this. Don't worry about me. I am alright

On a lighter note we have been doing a lot of gardening and it is winding down now. We have filled our freezer with vegetables and we have melons on an almost daily basis. I sure do enjoy them and I hate to see the season end. You can't save the melons so we don't eat them out of season, because they are not as good as the ones we raise. Oh well, it's fun while they last.

70 th

Well, I had my 70th birthday party on July 19 and it was a lot of fun. My daughter from Oklahoma and her husband and four children were here. My son from Yuba City and his wife and five children were here also. The only ones that were missing were my oldest son and his wife and their three children and I really missed them. There were also many friends there and it was really great.

My daughter and her children stayed three weeks altogether and we loved it. They were in the pool every day. Now when I get in the pool, it is just Sue and I. I love this, but I sure miss it, being full of kids. That is what life is all about. Family. And I wish we could all live close to each
other, but since we don't, I guess I will just have to enjoy when we can visit.

Since you, the kids are younger you will have to do most of the traveling, so don't forget us and come often. We miss you.
